Race Times

Half Marathon - 09:30

Marathon -        10:00

10k -                  10:30

5k -                    13:30

Buggy Run -       13:40

 

 

Registration

This will take place in the runners’ area at the Anglesey Showground starting at 7:00am . All competitors for the marathon must register by 9:15am and competitors for the half-marathon must register by 8:40am. Buses to transport competitors to the start of the half marathon will all leave at 08:45. Subsequent arrivals will be declined the opportunity to race. Competitors in the 10k must have registered by 10:00am. Registration for the 5k will open at 11:00am and will remain open until 13:00.

 

At Registration

Runners will collect their race numbers. Collect and sign for their electronic chip. For the first time this year ALL races including the 10k and 5k will be chip timed!

Please note it is important that all competitors complete the reverse side of the race number and provide medical information and a contact number in case of any emergencies.

All competitors must wear their race number on their front and not their back.

 

Chip Timing

The Anglesey Festival of Running uses electronic chip timing to ensure accurate timing and to ensure the speedy production of results. All competitors must ensure that their electronic chip is fitted correctly before the start of the race.
Any runner who fails to attach an electronic chip will not appear in the race results. (No chip = No time). Kit Bag Storage

This facility is available for all runners, If you wish for your kit bag to be secured safely whilst you compete in the race, please attach the Kitbag number provided at registration to your kit bag and proceed to the assigned kitbag storage area. * Please note: Kitbag storage is provided at the owners risk. The Anglesey Marathon organisation will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to these goods.

 

The following facilities will be available in the runners area:

  • Toilet facilities
  • Kitbag Storage
  • Sports Massage (for a small charge)
  • Cafeteria
In addition to this, a wide range of other outdoor activities will be taking place as part of the Anglesey Active Festival.

 

Please note: The Anglesey Festival of Running advises against the wearing of audio devices (MP3 players, iPods etc) on the grounds of safety as these races do make use of open roads.
